This policy explains what information the Number Puzzle mobile application ("the app") handles, and why. It is written to be read, not to be skimmed past — it is short because the app does very little with your data.
In short: the game itself collects nothing about you and sends nothing anywhere. Your puzzles, best times and settings stay on your device. The only data that leaves your phone is what Google's advertising service needs in order to show an ad.
Information the app stores on your device
The game keeps a small amount of information locally, so it can remember where you were:
- Your unfinished puzzle — board size, tile positions, move count and elapsed time
- Your best completion time for each board size
- A lifetime count of moves and completed games
- Your sound on/off preference
This is stored in the app's private storage on your device. It is never transmitted to us or to anyone else, and we cannot see it. Uninstalling the app deletes all of it.
Information collected by advertising
The app displays ads supplied by Google AdMob. To do that, Google's advertising software collects information from your device. We do not receive this information ourselves; it goes to Google, who acts as an independent controller of it.

Google's handling of this data is governed by its own policies: Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
Your choices
- Reset or delete your advertising ID. On Android, open Settings → Privacy → Ads. You can reset the identifier at any time, or delete it entirely so apps can no longer use it for personalised ads.
- Opt out of personalised ads. The same settings screen lets you turn off ad personalisation. Ads will still appear, but will not be based on your interests.
- Remove everything. Uninstalling the app deletes all game data held on your device.
- Play offline. The game is fully playable with no network connection. With no connection, no ad is requested and nothing leaves your device.
Children
This app is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through this app, contact us at the address above and we will act on it.
What the app does not do
- No account, sign-in, email address or name is ever requested
- No contacts, photos, files, microphone, camera or precise location access
- No analytics or crash-reporting service
- No chat, multiplayer, or sharing of anything with other users
- No in-app purchases and no payment information
- We do not sell personal information
The app requests permission to show notifications, which it uses only to congratulate you when you solve a puzzle. Declining costs you nothing.
Security
Game data never leaves your device. Data transmitted by the advertising software is sent over encrypted connections.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new date at the top. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes on Google Play.
